A leak is a claim, not a fact. This page sets out what we do before publishing one, and what our labels mean — so you can judge for yourself how much to trust any story on this site.
Where stories come from
We watch a curated list of public sources: established EA Sports FC leak accounts on X, EA’s official newsroom, and a small number of news feeds and YouTube channels. Accounts are added to that list only after their handle is verified and their track record checked. We do not buy leaks, and we do not solicit material from anyone under NDA.
What happens to a story before it publishes
- Deduplication. One leak gets covered by a dozen accounts within the hour. Near-identical stories are collapsed into one so the site does not carry five versions of the same reveal.
- Drafting. An article is drafted from the source material with AI assistance. Where the leak is an image — a card, a screenshot — only what is legibly visible is reported. Blurred or ambiguous values are left out rather than guessed.
- Human review. A person reads every draft against its source and either approves it or rejects it. This step is not optional and is not automated.
- Attribution. Every article carries a visible link to the source it came from.
What the labels mean
Unconfirmed leak — a banner at the top of an article means EA has not announced this. It may change before release, and it may simply be wrong. Treat ratings, prices and dates in these stories as provisional.
Articles without that banner are based on official EA communications or on events that have already happened.
What we will not do
- Republish someone else’s images as our own. We quote and link; we do not rehost.
- Reproduce another outlet’s article text. Stories are summarised in our own words with added context.
- State a leak as confirmed fact, or invent a rating, date or price that the source does not give.
Corrections policy
If we get something wrong we correct the article and note what changed and when. If a leak we covered turns out to be false, the article is updated to say so rather than quietly deleted. Report an error via our contact page.
