Privacy Policy

This page explains what LeakedFC collects, why, and what you can do about it. It describes what the site actually does today — not a template.

Last updated: 26 August 2026.

Who we are

LeakedFC is an independent EA Sports FC news site at leakedfc.com. For anything on this page, contact [email protected].

What we collect when you read the site

You do not need an account to read LeakedFC, and we do not ask for your name or email to do so.

The site sits behind Cloudflare, which handles traffic before it reaches our server. Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser user-agent to serve pages, block attacks and filter bots, and sets a cookie for that purpose. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Our own web server keeps standard access logs — IP address, time, page requested, user-agent — used only for security and diagnosing faults. They are not used to build a profile of you.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which stories people read and where they arrived from. It is provided by Google, which processes that data on our behalf and may store it outside the UK and EEA.

It only runs if you agree to it. You are asked on your first visit, and until you accept, Google’s script is never loaded at all — not merely restricted. Decline and nothing is sent to Google and no analytics cookie is written. Your answer is remembered in your browser so you are not asked again.

To change your answer, clear this site’s data in your browser and you will be asked again on your next visit.

Cookies

  • Cloudflare sets a cookie to tell real visitors from bots and to absorb attacks. It is needed to serve the site safely and is set on every visit.
  • Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits and recognise returning readers — only after you accept.
  • WordPress sets cookies only if you leave a comment, to remember your name and email, or if you log in as an editor. Ordinary reading sets none.

Advertising

LeakedFC is funded by advertising. No third-party advertising is served on this site at present. Before any advert appears, this page will be updated to name the provider, describe the cookies it sets, and explain your choices.

Comments

If you leave a comment, we store what you type in the comment form together with your IP address and browser user-agent, which helps detect spam. An anonymised hash of your email address may be sent to Gravatar to look up a profile picture. Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so follow-ups can be approved automatically. You may ask us to delete a comment at any time.

Embedded content

Articles quote posts from X and other sources. We render those quotes as static cards built from text and images captured at the time we wrote the article — we do not load X’s embed script, so X does not receive your visit or set cookies through us. Links out to a source are ordinary links; once you follow one, that site’s own policy applies.

What we never do

  • Sell or rent your personal data.
  • Send marketing email. There is no mailing list.
  • Ask for payment details. Nothing on this site is for sale.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EEA you may request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. In practice the only personal data we are likely to hold is a comment you left. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month.

Changes

If this policy changes materially — in particular when advertising begins — the date at the top of this page changes with it.
